Saif’s progression highlights the success of Aspen’s Graduate Recruitment Scheme. He initially joined the lender as part of the underwriting team in December 2019, swiftly establishing himself as a key performer.

In 2023, he joined the management team and has since assisted with the development of the underwriting team, taking on the role of Head of Underwriting in February 2024 following the completion of his Masters in Real Estate & Finance at Henley Business School.

As a Director his new responsibilities will include both the day-to-day operation and management of the underwriting team, strategic input and process enhancement and the organisation of wider training.

As part of the wider management team he will be focussed on the business’ aim for 2026 to exceed £1bn in total lending since inception whilst maintaining the highest quality and service levels.

Saif is a standout in the industry having been recognised in the Bridging & Commercial Magazine Power List, which highlights leading specialists driving the UK bridging and commercial finance markets.
