Steve is Aspen’s Southern Business Development Manager with over 10 years sales experience, including over 5 years at Castle Trust Bank.
Steve’s helps to promote Aspen to both new and existing brokers and ensure they have a good understanding of our products.
Mike joins Aspen with a decade of experience in the Property finance sector. He excelled at Brightstar, contributing to their award-winning Short-Term lending team, and most recently found success as an Internal BDM for Octane Capital.
Now, as an External BDM for Aspen, Mike is dedicated to building strong broker relationships & offering support regarding Aspen products and processes. Mike is looking forward to having a positive impact on those he works with.
Saif embarked on his journey with us as a Graduate Underwriter, demonstrating exceptional skills and dedication. Today, he proudly serves as the Underwriting Manager, overseeing our dynamic underwriting team and refining our meticulous process.
Laura came to us after 6 years in the Warwickshire Police with a BSc in Psychology from Aston university.
Laura is an experienced underwriter with a specialism in foreign national cases.
Richard joined Aspen after completing his BA (Hons) in Financial Management from the University of Portsmouth. He brings with him a strong background in property finance and refurbishment.
Richard is one of our most proactive underwriters and has managed several of our larger works cases.
Finlay joined Aspen after completing his BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Financial Management at Loughborough University.
He is currently undergoing our full comprehensive training program to equip him with the relevant skills required for the Underwriter role.
George joined Aspen after completing his BSc in Mathematics at the University of Bristol.
He is currently undertaking our full training program within our lending team.

Daniel joined Aspen after completing his BSc in Accounting and Finance at the University of Coventry having achieved a First.
He is currently undertaking our full training program within our underwriting team.
Wayne is an invaluable founding member of the Aspen team and has over 25 years’ experience in the specialist finance industry both as a broker at GE and Promise and now as a lender at Aspen.
In addition, Wayne has excellent experience in development projects and has self- built and refurbished a range of properties and is the key driver of our new light development product.
Stephen has over 25 years’ experience in the specialist finance industry in brokers and lenders at GE Money and One Savings Bank. At One Savings Bank he was nominated for underwriter of the year in 2018 at the Bridging and Commercial and Crystal Finance Awards.
Stephen is now a Senior Risk assessor at Aspen. In addition, Stephen has experience of his own personal heavy refurbishment development project and also helped build a house in South Africa with the charity Habitat for Humanity.

Amir joins Aspen with a first-class law degree from Aston University and 2 years working as a Litigation Executive in a leading law firm.
Amir undertakes numerous site visits to appraise lending proposals, while engaging with key stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the loan.
Da has joined Aspen after completing her Masters degree at the University of Derby.
She has completed our training within our lending team and is currently undertaking our full training program within our Risk and Recoveries team.
Aqib has joined Aspen after completing his LPC & MSc in Law, Business and Management from The University of Law. Prior to this, he obtained an LLB from Keele University and has a background in property refurbishment and investment.

Ed co-founded Aspen in 2017 and prior to that has 30 years’ experience within speciality finance with up to £20 bln under management.
This included Director roles at Vanquis Bank, Head of Operations at Barclays Bank and being part of the founding team of Abbey National Direct.
Jack co-founded Aspen in 2017 after working alongside Ed as Group Development Executive at S&U and prior to was part of the PwC Valuations. Jack holds an MA (Oxon) and is ACA qualified.
Jack is also an avid supporter of charity and swam the Channel from England to France in 2011 in 13 hrs and 46 mins to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research & Mondo Challenge.

Phil has joined Aspen after working for 9 years as a financial accountant. He holds a BA in Accounting & Finance and is ACCA qualified.
He is responsible for the accounts and day-to-day running of the Aspen finances. Although a new industry for him, he is enjoying learning about the specifics of the bridging market and is keen to apply his knowledge to help Aspen grow.
Poonam has a great background in Finance and is a key member of the Aspen payouts team.
Poonam is responsible for processing invoices, payroll and assisting with accounts and data required for audit.
Jonathan is a motivated, driven Software Engineer with 20+ years of experience on large scale software systems and with particular VB.net experience.
Jonathan takes pride in and responsibility for his work with the aim to always exceed standards.
Evan has a worked in IT for many years covering a number of roles and has strong skills in coding and the creation of specifications.
Evan contributes to several areas of Aspens systems development including Reporting, Case Management & Broker interface.
